AYSO is near and dear to my heart. I played up until U16 and then began volunteering in 2002. I started as a coach for the younger divisions and then joined the board in 2012 thanks to my mom, Bev who was on the AYSO board for 15+ years. In 2016, the Board asked me to become the Commissioner. Never in a million years did I think I would be running the largest sports organization in Pacifica but, here I am years later with two kids in the program! Although my daughter is club eligible, we choose to stay with AYSO due to their Philosophies. And remember, when you think you're too busy to volunteer just think of me taking this position while pregnant, sitting on multiple boards, and working full-time. We are never too busy to volunteer for our children! 

Rich is the jack of all trades for AYSO! Although his son stopped playing soccer a few years ago, Rich continues to invest his time into our Region. He has multiple positions and you will likely see him refereeing a 12U or 14U game each Saturday. 

Father of two boys who never get tired, so why not AYSO where they can run and improve on their skills at the same time. My boys always look forward to soccer season and I enjoy volunteering. 

Maria has been part of AYSO for over two decades.
From coaching to refereeing, and taking on different board positions, Maria is always around to lend a helping hand.
