About our volnteers:

We try not to assign referees to matches where their children are playing. Consequently, every time your child plays in a soccer match, three referees are donating their time so your children can play soccer. Remember that fact the next time you holler at a referee about a call… And if you know the Laws of the Game well enough to make the call from the touchline, PLEASE come to a referee class and get certified.

Local sport fields:

In Pacifica most of our fields are made available through the Pacifica School District. The District strongly reminds us that parking regulations will be enforced and that dogs are not allowed on school property. Please do not jepordize the availablity of these fields.

Kids Zone:

Pacifica AYSO has joined with our other neighboring regions in supporting a national effort of making kids sports a safe and fun experience. In this effort we ask our players, parents and our volunteers to make a pledge and to remember it's for the kids.

Kids are #1
Fun, not winning, is everything.
Fans only cheer, and only coaches coach.
No yelling in anger.

Respect the volunteer referees.

No swearing.
No smoking.
Leave no trash behind.
Set a proper example for our children.

We are so grateful to our volunteers who take the time to work with our youth. The only compensation they receive is our gratitude. Please do not consider these volunteers as child care providers. Stay involved with your child and their team. Offer to help with the set up or take down of field equipment. And please be prompt when dropping your child off or picking them up for practices or games.
